Austin Heat Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 29, 2026

This policy describes how Austin Heat, developed by DreamCrafter Innovations LLC ("we", "us", "our"), handles data. It supplements our general privacy policy, which covers the website and practices common to all of our apps.

What Austin Heat collects and how it's used

• Nothing about you is sent to us. The heat map, the statistics and the scenario tool all run on your device from data bundled with the app. We have no server for this app and no account system.
• Address lookup (optional). If you type an address on the Map tab, that text is sent directly from your device to the US Census Bureau's public geocoder to turn it into a map position. The result is used on your device to find your block and is not stored or sent to us.
• On your device. Your theme colour choice is stored locally.
• The app does not ask for your location, contacts, photos or any other permission.

Third-party services

• US Census Bureau geocoder (only when you look up an address) receives the address text and your IP address, under the Census Bureau's privacy policy.
• Map. The map loads OpenStreetMap tiles and the MapLibre map library from the internet. Your device requests them directly, so those providers receive your IP address and the map area you view, under their own policies.
• No Firebase, analytics, advertising or crash reporting.

Data sharing

We do not collect, sell or share personal information from Austin Heat.

Your choices

• Address lookup is optional; the map, statistics and scenarios work without it.
• Uninstalling the app removes the preference stored on your device.
• You can ask questions at contactus@dreamcrafterinnovations.com.

Children

Austin Heat is intended for general audiences. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
